Overview

Six days Serengeti and Zanzibar safari are safari which starts in Arusha with pick up and transfer to Serengeti national park which is the oldest national park in the northern part of Tanzania and is also known for the wildebeest migration.

You will also visit Zanzibar island during your 6 days Serengeti and Zanzibar safari and visit Nungwi beach where you will engage in activities such as snorkeling, swimming, and scuba diving.

You will engage in morning and afternoon game drives during your safari in Serengeti national park and search for wildlife species such as elephants, lions, buffalos, leopards, rhinos, wildebeests, zebras, antelopes, waterbucks, and giraffes among others. After your 6 days Serengeti and Zanzibar safari, you will return to Arusha where the safari will end.

Day 1; Serengeti National Park

On this 1^st day of your 6 Days Serengeti and Zanzibar Safari, you shall be Picked up from your hotel of stay, or from the airport upon arrival. You will be briefed about your safari and then proceed to transfer to Serengeti National Park by road. Enjoy a game drive as you drive to your lodge or stay in the park. Once at the lodge, enjoy a sumptuous lunch and get to relax the rest of the afternoon. You will head out for an evening game drive in the vast savannah plains of Serengeti National Park. Spot a variety of wildlife including elephants, buffaloes, wildebeest, and zebras. Return to the lodge after for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2; Serengeti National Park

After a sumptuous breakfast at the lodge, you will head out for a full day Serengeti National Park experience clad with your parked lunch which will be enjoyed on a picnic. Enjoy searching for various wildlife species in the vast savannah plains of the Serengeti. In the evening, you shall return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 3; Transfer to Zanzibar

You will enjoy your breakfast at the lodge and then check out of the lodge, enjoy another game drive as you head to the airstrip for your transfer to Zanzibar. Once in Zanzibar, you will be transferred to your hotel of stay, enjoy lunch and then get to rest in the afternoon. In the evening, you will go out for a short walk on the historical streets of Zanzibar. Return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4; Stone town and spice tour

Today, you will wake up to a sumptuous breakfast at the hotel, and then head out for a Stone town and spice Tour. Stone town is the old part of Zanzibar island with many old architectural and historical structures great to wonder at. A spice tour takes you through various farms and areas from where various spices are grown and manufactured. You can get to taste some of them if you want to, or even purchase them if you need to. Lunch will be had in a selected restaurant; you could even enjoy the meals prepared with various spices you would have seen earlier. After, you shall return to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5; Relaxation/leisure day

You could walk on the vast white sand beaches, play various water sports like swimming, kayaking or whatever else. You could also choose to read a book at the beach or at the hotel with a glass of wine. Lunch, dinner, and overnight stay are at the hotel.

Day 6; Departure

Depending on your flight schedule, you will check out of the resort for your departure flight out of Zanzibar to where you shall catch your outbound flight.
