Munich has three beautiful parks, the Englischer Garten and Nymphenburg Park, as well as the Olympic Park. It is also home to world-class art museums such as the three Pinakothek museums and a major technical museum, the Deutsches Museum. For dance sport enthusiasts, there is the well-known Savoy dance club, which serves as a training base for several Latin and Standard champions. Munich also offers traditional Bavarian food and, of course, the Oktoberfest — the only event I probably won’t join you for. In the area, there are also two lakes, Lake Starnberg and Lake Ammersee, which are especially beautiful due to their mountain scenery. If you take a bit of time and book a boat trip, you can really enjoy the experience of exploring the lakes.
