There are many waterfalls around the Highlands, but one that I would recommend the most is plodda falls. It is a bit of a drive but it is very scenic even in winter. The road goes through a wooded area and small farms. There is an old ruin of a beautiful mansion on the way which can be seen from the road but for the adventurious kind you can cut through a field and go up close.
