I'm prepared for a few days to offer a room and the use of my large house. Sited in one of the 13 historic villages of Milton Keynes, with surrounding thatch cottages, old church and great pub. Easy access to London if you wish, as short as 35 minutes on the train but why, when you have so much at hand, Woburn Abbey, Bletchley Park (home of the WW2 code breakers), Wrest Park, the Grand Union Canal, loads of great park land and great walks and a host who is prepared to help you find your way. Also easy access to Oxford and Cambridge, only an hour by car.
