The main street is friendly and welcoming day and night, we get a bit rowdy on weekends, during holidays, special days, and when the college students are back in town which is spring and Fall, but it's usually interesting and fun time! The bars are great, and the food is really good! We have a college here that is close to downtown that hosts a museum dedicated to Mississippian culture, there is also the Red House historic site, Fort D, and the most popular attraction would be the river wall with its murals and grand view of the bridge.
