I’m planning on hiking to the summit of Tapuae-o-Uenuku in Marlborough. It’s a 2-3 day hike, 1 or two nights in the huts depending on how fast you descend. It’s the highest point in NZ outside the southern alps! I have a car and will be driving from Picton to the start on the morning of Saturday the 21st. Will stay in the huts on the way up, night of the 21st, and potentially on the way down, night of the 22nd, if we don’t have time to make it back during daylight hours.
