I started this adventure on September 1, 2022. I started in Istanbul on moved around Turkey for a month, been here several time before. Love it! Would eventually like to go everywhere on the "silk road". So I next went through Bulgaria, N. Macedonia and Albania. Am presently in Naples, Italy until the end of the year. Then I will cross back over to Greece, and fly out of Athens for Bangkok.

Retired and wanting to see and experience everything that I can. I am on what I call GA#3. GA#1 was going across Spain on the Camino de Santiago, down through Portugal, and across to Morocco. Back into Spain across to Barcelona. Flying to Istanbul for a 4 day layover, then on to home. This was in 2019. Did a border to border trip(Mexico to Canada)... see more
