Trip Details

I would like to explore the Rocky mountains in areas that are less touristy but equally beautiful. I enjoy hiking ( not steep ) but meandering trails with great views. I can hike for 3-4 hours but I also need a holiday and would enjoy some quiet time in between exploring. I prefer a slower pace style travel, I never feel I have to see everything.

I was considering flying to Calgary then renting a car. I do have a car, but it's a long drive from Vancouver. I don't like highway driving so hope to find someone who does, of course I am glad to share all the expenses.

I'd rather spend my time exploring Waterton Park and other areas. It might be possible to rent a car in Calgary. I am a photographer, gentle hiker, artist, ESL teacher and have traveled the world.  I would like a travel partner who is doubly vaccinated and I would want to be careful re Covid. (no crowded places!)  Keep me posted,  I am open to doing a road trip in BC but I think the fires are still a problem. I would definitely want to connect ahead and get to know you to ensure we are on the same page.
