Hi everyone!

My name is Julian and I'm 30, male from Canada. I'm looking at doing a month long trip to Europe starting in September 2019. I'm still super open to ideas on where to go and don’t really have a set itinerary. (See *update* at the bottom of the page). The reason I'm so flexible is because I feel like the company is just as important as the destination, and if you have your heart set on a particular destination, I'd love to hear your ideas!

I like travelling with both male and female companions of any age but am in no way looking for romance (I'm happily taken), just great friends to share amazing experiences with, talk about life, take care of each other and have loads of fun along the way. I'm very relaxed and chill, and love to experience different cultures. I love to get out and see the sights, but also don't mind lounging around a few days here and there to relax and really take everything in.

I'm a fairly seasoned traveller, and I can speak fluent English and some Canadian French. I also speak fairly good Italian, some French, some Portuguese, and a little Spanish, all enough to get by. I'm resourceful and don't mind playing translator or tour guide in places I've already been. I enjoy seeing museums, live music, monuments, attractions, cafes, restaurants and most things in between. I'm not much of a partier when I travel and am much more interested in taking the culture of my environment. The world is such an amazing place because everyone is so different, and I really like to experience that. That doesn't mean I don't like to let loose the odd night though if my companion(s) are into that. I love karaoke and usually need a little "help" to get up on stage. That's all I'll say about that.

**UPDATE JULY 6TH, 2019**

So, being it's July I've started making some plans.  I've changed the starting point of this trip from London to Paris (better flights).  It will still be ending in London.  My dates are now getting pretty concrete as well as I'm going to be purchasing flights in the next few days.  As I plan more I will update all that here.  I haven't had anyone contact me saying they want to join for all, or part of the journey so as for now, I'm still solo :( but I'm hoping someone will still want to jump in last minute!  Don't think you have to come on the whole trip if you don't want either. I obviously don't mind if people jump in and jump out as they please.

I've started planning the first few days in France, and they include home-basing it in Paris, a trip to Versailles, and a few days in the Normandy region including a full day D-Day tour. Unless indicated, the dates here are still flexible.  Also, if I've already booked the tickets, that just means I've already done the legwork for you and you can still join me by booking the same tickets (travel, tours etc.).  If I haven't bought the tickets yet (and I will indicate when I have, and for what date) then extending stays in cities, changing cities altogether, or switching the days of tours to suit you better is no problem.
